Description

The Wolf Nebula is a beautiful dark nebula located in Scorpius, just to the north of the Dragons of Ara.  With no [OIII], and very little [SII], SHO imaging could be seen as an exercise in futility.
Indeed there are a number a  beautiful HaRGB images out there, and rether than fail in matching them, I decided to see what I could pull out of SHO without resorting to a green and purple technicolour splat.

After 15hours of imaging,, under pretty awful seeing conditions, I am not sure how well I succeeded.   The result is pretty much a palette of colour from pink to yellow.  But I was pleased with the how the dark nebula itself and a few of the cometary globules came out.

[I think this is the Wolf Nebula and not the Dark Wolf nebula - a few degrees further north in the constellation of Lupus.  But if any of my AB friends know better, please let me know.  At this resolution it looks more like the front half of a running Afghan Hound to me, anyway]
